Diseases are unpalatable and stressful to the human body; everybody would consequently do anything possible to prevent them. Following certain health rules; eating some sorts of foods and keeping regular exercises might help give you a lifetime free of diseases or illnesses.

  • Eat more fish than red meat: They’re safer, and unlike red meat, they don’t have any purine that’s dangerous to health.
  • Lower consumption of oils and fats: They raise your blood cholesterol and also make you vulnerable to heart disease. Saturated fats are especially harmful to your health.
  • Exercise regularly: This improves your blood circulation and promotes a healthy heart.
  • Recreate from time to time: Laughter helps alleviate tension and enhance relaxation.
  • Smile regularly: This boosts longevity and reduces aging too fast.

  • Take 20-30 minutes rest during the day: It can help you reorganize and relax properly.
  • Avoid exposure to extreme/excessive cold: It enhances your immune system.
  • Avoid exposure to extreme heat: It destroys your immune system.
  • Minimise your exposure to high decibel sound: They hurt your hearing system.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water after using the bathroom: This lowers the incidence of disease transmission.
  • Don’t rub your eyes with bare hands – use clean handkerchief: This helps prevent getting germs in your eyes.
  • Cut your fingernails short and keep them clean constantly: It also prevents spread of disease.
  • Keep your environment clean and tidy: Healthy environment promote good health and protect against invasion by insects and germs.
  • Keep your space well ventilated: This ensures that your brain gets enough oxygen consistently. Additionally, it prevents mental fatigue.
  • Brush your teeth twice per day: It helps stop clogs from growing in your teeth and reduce tooth decay.
  • Visit your dentist once in 6 months or at least once every year: Dental problems would be detected in time and handled by the dentist.
  • Check your blood pressure at least once in 3 months if your BP is normal and at least once in two weeks if it’s high: It will help prevent complications related to high blood pressure.
  • Take worm expeller at least one time per year to eliminate intestinal worms in your system.
  • Avoid exposure to mosquitoes. They carry plasmodium that causes malaria.
  • Do not take any medication not prescribed by the physician, nurse or pharmacist: Such practice could put your health at risk.
  • Have your breasts examined regularly: Helps you detect early signs of breast cancer.
  • Protect your feet with well fitting shoes: This will keep your feet from injuries and complications associated with them.
  • Control your anger: Anger is harmful; it raises your adrenaline level and puts you at risk of cardiovascular disease. It’s simpler and less expensive for you to protect against a disease than to cure it.
